I can't wait to see what you have to share this week! Anything family friendly is welcome to link up below!
Last week's most popular link up was from Sight and Sound Reading: President's Day Activities for Kindergarten
This week's Theme is Science Picture Books, and while Usborne definitely tops the charts where science is concerned we do have a few other favorites as well. If you click the cover image you can see more info, get the ISBN (useful when searching at the library) or purchase them.
The Usborne Science Encyclopedia – full of awesome pictures and great explanations for most things (Disclaimer: Usborne books do not support Creation Science.)
How Things Work by Usborne – We love all the fabulous illustrations answering our question in How Things Work.
100 Science Experiments by Usborne
We also love the Let's Read and Find Out Science Series with titles like What are Germs? What Lives in a Shell? Who Eats What? How Does a Seed Grow? and much much more.
We have also just discovered the tv series Wild Kratts on Amazon Prime or DVD. It is a mixture of real life footage and animation that teaches you all kinds of things about biology. Even Hero and I have learned some new things.
Link Up Announcements:
- This list has our topics for 2015, but anything reading and family related is welcome.
- Our hosts will still share a themed selection each week, but our link up will be for anything literature related and family friendly – always.
- If you'd like to join us as a co-host in the new year, please contact Katie.

What a great bunch of science books and choices. I do not have the subject books but I did want to join you at your sweet invitation. I review children’s picture books mostly so that is what I will have when I link up, if you don’t mind.
I found my neighbor here to have a wonderful collection of Lenten devotionals. I visited her site and perused through the list.
Thanks for hosting this great resource for many.

We love The Usborne Science encyclopedia! I will have a look at their 100 experiments. I didn’t see this one before. I will pin it to my Books Board.
