What is a Wordless Book?
A Wordless Book is a great little tool for sharing the Gospel. You can make it out of papers of different colors, though some have used bracelets and ornaments to tell the story as well. (Note: pencils, balloons, paints, anything with these colors will work.)
What Story Does a Wordless Book Tell?
The Wordless Book tells the greatest story ever told. The story we all need to be recounting to ourselves and to others every day. The story that missionaries leave all for in order to tell to people in other countries. The story of Love, Redemption, Salvation, and Adoption!
How Do I Tell the Story?
First you'll need a book (find out how to make one here.) And Second, you need to own the story. You can memorize and present and fool anyone else, but if you have never experienced God's salvation, you know it, and God knows it. The best storytellers are those who have lived the story!
The story is simple and profound. If you allow the colors to be your guide, you can step by step give people (adults and children) the best news they will ever hear: The Gospel. The Truth about sin and salvation. This is not a word for word telling. There is no magic script to memorize. But this will give you a basic outline and when you pray and ask him to, God through his Holy Spirit will help you fill in as you present.
If you are presenting to preschoolers, click here to check out a very neat poem with hand movements that is perfect for sharing this story with little people!
Keep reading to find out how to present each of the colors and their Gospel importance to children.

We used to do these wordless bracelets at the State Fair! Fun memories! Several years in Iowa and then Illinois!

Wow! At the State Fair! That is a cool thing. It’s a classic way to give the Gospel.
