By now, I’m sure you’ve heard about all the exciting sales coming up starting Thanksgiving weekend. And I’m sure you’ve already downloaded your free planning forms and gotten all organized. Sale shopping is such a great way to be a good steward of our resources, and getting things bought ahead for Christmas and/or birthdays always makes me feel like I’m being a good steward of my time as well.
Amazon is a company I admire for that. They are always on top of things with both time and savings. They’re not waiting for Black Friday. Starting now through Cyber Monday, Amazon has planned lightening deals on almost ALL of their products with new items joining the sales every 10 minutes! If there is something youv’e been watching for, you can probably find in on sale on their site in the next 10 days, and some of them up to 60% or 70% off!
Here are 3 ways to find the best deals on Amazon in the next 2 weeks:
1. Get the deals by email
You can click here to go to their deals page and sign up for their emails. This way you’ll get a summary of the days hottest deals right to your inbox each day. On the right hand side of the page just under the menu it should say “never miss another deal” or “sign up to get deal emails”, that's where you want to be.
2. Add to cart and check in often
You can go to Amazon. Search for a specific item on your list, and add it to your cart. Every time you sign into your account and view your cart, Amazon will notify you if the price of one of those items has changed (for more or less).
3. Watch each days' announced deals and plan accordingly
You can view Today’s Deals online as well as the limited-time Black Friday Deals & Sales and see which ones are coming up. Amazon tells you what time that deal will go live. If it’s something you really would like, set a timer and be sure to hop online when that particular sale starts. There will only be a limited number of those items available at that price, so be sure to have your payment and shipping info either already entered in your Amazon account or close at hand. Once you add that deeply discounted item to your cart, you only have a few minutes to purchase it, or it goes back in the pot of up-for-grabs items for that sale.
I hope these tips help you make the most of your gift budget this year. If you have other ways to save with Amazon, I'd love to hear them!
