Today on What to Read Wednesday, we are highlighting Kid's Devotional books and resources! Here is a list of what we consider to be the Best Kids Devotionals/Bible Studies around.
My ABC Bible Verses: Hiding God's Word in Little Hearts
Egermeier's Bible Story Book – one of our favorites.
101 Bible Stories by Ura Miller – this is a classic. It was read to me as a child, and I read it now to mine.
Keys for Kids Devotional Books – I grew up on these and loved them! I looked forward to getting each month booklet in the mail. Today they are in book form, but the stories and lessons are the same timeless truths of Scripture applied to everyday circumstances general to all kids.
We Choose Virtues – We Choose Virtues wants to help you Simply Inspire Character that Lasts! I love their colorful and fun visual aids too!
What's in the Bible DVDs – these are great for family movie nights, family get togethers over the holidays, or even when parents just need it quiet.
Grapevine Studies – free sample Bible lessons, and a great sale (this week). This is a favorite of many families, especially if you're artistic, b/c it includes drawing activities to express and help you remember what you are learning.
For the older kids – Positive Action for Christ has a great Bible study series called Milk, Meat, Bread, Fish taking you through different foundational doctrines of Scripture.
For the more mature teen, Changed into His Image, book and study guide by Jim Berg is an excellent, in depth study of Christlikeness.
And don't forget you can get a FREE download of our Genesis to Ruth Bible Activities here.
