I have posted our curriculum choices for the school year soon, (see last year's here), but I must admit that we are beginning to enjoy the year-round schooling approach. We just started a new schooling schedule this week that has me working with Sir and Flower in the mornings and with Butterfly after dinner/before bed. We'll see how this goes and tweak as necessary.
Whether you school year-round, are starting a new homeschool semester or just getting the new backpacks packed to send them back to school, these books are excellent choices for this time of year. They will help you start needed conversations, address fears, and calm nerves.
Last week's most popular linked post was:
My Top Picks for Homeschool Curriculum from So Much at Home
In addition to the books and link up mentioned below you may also enjoy these

This week we are excited to announce that Beth from Classes by Beth is joining What To Read Wednesday as our newest co-host. Beth is very familiar with the homeschool community as she teaches a variety of online courses to homeschoolers throughout the school year. Beth along with her team of teachers offer a full curriculum for middle school through high school.
And now for the link up!
This list has our topics for 2015, but you don't have to stick to that, anything reading and family related is welcome Our hosts will still share a themed selection each week, but our link up will be for anything literature related and family friendly – always. If you'd like to join us as a co-host in the new year, please contact Katie.
