Modern day etiquette is sadly lacking in our society, and it showed when I went searching for a list of books to share with you. It does not appear that many are putting enough importance on the matter to even publish children's books on this. Here are the ones I recommend.
Last week's favorite link up post was:
Artful, Heart-full Success: What's Your Secret? from Allspice & Acrylics
Proverbs, chapters 1-31 – Yes, the one in your Bible, it's still the best!
A Little Book of Manners for Boys: A Game Plan for Getting Along with Others by Bob & Emilie Barnes
A Little Book of Manners: Courtesy and Kindness for Young Ladies by Bob & Emilie Barnes
Richard Scarry's Please and Thank You Book
You've Got Manners: Table Tips from A to Z for Kids of All Ages by Lousie Elerding
Everyday Graces: A Child's Book of Manners by Karen Santorum
The Children's Book of Virtues by William J. Bennett
And now the link up:
- This list has our topics for 2015, but you don't have to stick to that, anything reading and family related is welcome
- Our hosts will still share a themed selection each week, but our link up will be for anything literature related and family friendly – always.
- If you'd like to join us as a co-host in the new year, please contact Katie.
