Did you ever feel like what you do isn’t good enough? That being a mom, a blogger, a wife, a friend just doesn’t cut it and you need to be more?
What You Do Matters
We all have feelings of inadequacy at times. We all wonder if what we are doing matters. But it does! We are fulfilling God’s purpose for us.
Just in case you doubt this, take a moment to read Lisa-Jo Baker’s post on (in)courage, When You Worry Your Life Is Too “Small” to Qualify for “Big” Ministry.
Lisa says,
“Don’t tell me that pulpits are only found in churches and speeches only come from stages. Don’t tell me that microphones are necessary to be heard.”
You Are Enough
Lisa points out that fulfilling God's plan for our life does not need a big stage or lots of fanfare. It is the everyday things we do that make life better for others. t is the showing up day after day to do his work that changes lives. You are enough!
You have been handpicked to fulfill God's plan. To be a mother to your children, to love your husband, to set an example for others. What you do as a parent makes a difference. How you carry out God’s work matters. You don’t need to be a preacher or a big name to inspire others. YOU are changing the world one little action and step at a time. YOU are enough!
