Welcome to What to Read Wednesday! Last week we shared our favorite picture books for boys, so this week it's the girls' turn. Get more info or purchase the books by clicking on their covers.
Best Picture Books for Girls
The Princess and the Kiss by Jennie Bishop – a beautiful lesson on keeping your kisses safe for one special person
The Kiss that Missed by David Melling – entertaining tale of a goodnight kiss
12 Dancing Princesses by Marianna Mayer – timeless classic tale beautifully illustrated
The Eye Book by Dr. Seuss – Girls and boys alike will feel accomplished and capable reading this book! A great one for beginning readers.
A World of Food by Carl Warner – every landscape is made of pieces of food!
Five Little Monkies stories by Eileen Christelow – our favorite is the one where they clean the house for Grandma Bessie's visit!
The Gardner by Sarah Stewart
Last week for the boys' list, the most viewed last week was A Pair of Red Clogs by Mom's Heart. It is a great post about what they've done to inspire several areas of study with this book.

Hello, Katie!
I am glad to join in your link-up today 🙂 I wish I had more to share. I am afraid that I have all kinds of things that are homemaking and healthy living and recipe related, but few on books! Does the topic change every week?
Blessings!
