10 Days to an Organized Homeschool E-Course

By Katie Hornor

This summer, I taught a video series on how to organize all the different aspects of your homeschool, from curriculum, to materials, to schedules and beyond, AND we turned it into an ecourse for you!

10 Days to an Organized Homeschool Course

We asked you, and you said one of your biggest frustrations with homeschooling is how to organize it all, schedules, records, curriculum, digital files, books, tools, manipulatives….

So, in a series of 10 lessons 5-15 min each, I'm going to be giving you tips on how to get your homeschool organized once and for all.

Below is a list of what I teach in each lesson and there are also special templates and downloads included! Click here to go to the purchase page or visit www.10DaysOrganizedHomeschool.com

The Course Contents

  • Lesson 1 – A successful school year starts with organizing your facts and non-negotiables and getting them on the calendar
  • Lesson 2 – Organize your computer to make record keeping easy throughout the year
  • Lesson 3 – How to organize your digital curriculum, to know what you have and where to find it
  • Lesson 4 – How to organize printables, articles and other online resources into an easy to use library
  • Lesson 5 – How to organize your physical curriculum in a small space and keep it tidy, 5 steps
  • Lesson 6 – 7 Tips for keeping manipulatives and supplies organized
  • Lesson 7 – 5 Tips for organizing your homeschool field trips and extra-curriculars
  • Lesson 8 – How to organize your daily homeschool schedule
  • Lesson 9 – How to organize lesson plans for multiple children and/or ages
  • Lesson 10 – 4 Steps to Choosing Next Year's Curriculum

The course is just $27, with forever access. Go through it again before each school semester to be sure you're as organized as possible. Send your middle or high schoolers through it as they begin to be responsible for more of their own materials and planning.

An organized homeschool is a more peaceful homeschool. When your home is peaceful, it is more praise-filled. You can't ever be too organized, especially when homeschooling more than one child, so check it out at www.10DaysOrganizedHomeschool.com

Homeschool Mom’s Giveaway for $150 (ended)

When the course launched, we had a giveaway to kick off the series. One winner won $150. Did you enter? Check below to see who won.

My biggest challenge is staying focused and making sure the kids are completing thier subjects.

      I also struggle with this.

My biggest struggle is staying on task with 4 littles to also keep entertained.

    • Katie Hornor says

We’ll be talking about that in lesson 9 🙂

How is this possible I struggle have a 8 & 9 year old.

I answered organizing resources, but on thinking further about it, that’s not really it. It’s the long term…figuring out further than what’s just next. Even doing a guess on how long it’s going to take/should take to learn a certain thing is hard.

But organizing resources is a big challenge…especially digital resources.

    • Katie Hornor says

      June 26, 2016 at 21:22

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I appreciate it.

It is a big fight. I have my little 6 years and I’m always watching videos on youtube about other languages with it. Investing in education it is fundamental and can not afford as a course, I help her to study the Internet.

I am so looking forward to this! I think I have bought/downloaded every homeschool blogger’s planner from those who I follow via email or social media ?. To say I could use help may be an understatement. This is my first year homeschooling all three of mine and I’m rather overwhelmed. AND!! Today is our official first day of school (we like to go year round). Definitely looking forward to this!

There are so many good educational toys and materials that I would LOVE to add to my curricilumn, but just can’t afford to buy because of the cost. Would now LOVE to have the oortunity to buy a few of them if I was lucky enough to win. Thank You for the chance to win.

The camp is 3 hours away and they have gone before and have benefited from it so much. Lots of great mentors and revolves all day around our Lord. Thank you so much for your great site, and lot of great info to help me along this journey of raising my grandchildren. My baby is going to be 21 and I dont know where the time went, so I am blessed to be able help with grandchildren and enjoy them.
