Our family has a Christmas friend already. Do I have to use a monkey?
No. Melk, the Christmas Monkey is a set of character teaching lessons designed in such a way that they can be “taught” by any character you wish. We've even included customizable letter printables on the website so that you can personalize the letters with your child's name, and from your family's special friend if you wish.
What version of the Bible does Melk use?
We used the King James Version because it is still widely used and it is a public domain document. If you prefer another version, you are welcome to re-type the letters or read them inserting the version of your preference.
Do I need a special license to share Melk with other families?
Melk, the Christmas Monkey may be purchased one per household. If you are using Melk to teach other children in your own home or in a Sunday School/ Children's Bible School type class setting where you are the teacher, there is no need for a license. You may not forward your digital copy to a friend or other household, duplicate, redistribute, host online or otherwise disperse the material, either in printed or digital format without prior written permission from Katie Hornor, as that would be a violation of copyright.
