Do you like coffee?
I didn't – until we had child #4: whom we affectionately call Taz.
He changed the world for us, and true to the meaning of his birth name (Josiah), as his life grew, our God began to heal my husband and I from some very deep hurts.
We'd been through some hot waters, and been burned, but just like with the coffee (that we are now finally old enough to drink and enjoy.) God used that hot water for our good. He allowed it bring out of us things we didn't know were inside that would have a positive, kingdom impact on others into the future.
No matter what your experience is today, what disappointment or pain or trial you are going through, please take a moment to click over and read this post about a Grandmother's wisdom, and be encouraged to choose the coffee.
That’s perfect. Hard times come & go. (or do they just come, and come, and come some more…? LOL) Those circumstances don’t change who we are, but we can allow them to grow us into more than we thought we could be. The really nice thing is, the eggs, carrots & coffee all taste great with the right seasonings & complements. There’s a time to be hard, a time to be soft, and a time to be the flavor and aroma for those around you. 🙂
Very true, Dawnita.
