Making Christmas ornaments is a large tradition in my memories of childhood Christmases. As the days got colder and shorter in the mountains, my Grandmother always had plenty of old Christmas cards, toothpicks, strings and ribbons and other craft items on hand to keep little hands busy.
These ornaments often ended up as Christmas gifts to other doting adults who made quite a fuss over them and ceremoniously placed them in their honored places on the family Christmas tree.

Wish I had your energy – since my children have grown up and moved out I’ve been diagnosed w/ fibromyalgia which breaks my heart because I was used to doing so much daily. Happy that you are able to do and give so others can see Jesus at work – thank you

Love this list! My boys and I try to make a few new ornaments each year. Mostly we end up giving them away as gifts but we have so much fun making them!
