Why Fairy Tales?
Everyone loves a good fairy tale. They have likeable, everyday-people kinds of heroes, dis-likeable bad guys, they usually involve royalty and they inevitably happy endings. But perhaps the best reason for a good fairy tale is that in the end the good always wins. It's a literature for-shadowing of our own story that speaks to our souls. We know from God's Word that He will triumph over evil in the end of the story. Never forget to use a fairy-tale telling as a chance to point out this truth to your children.
Our Favorite Bilingual Fairy Tale Books
Here are a few of our favorite fairy tale books in bilingual paperback form. We like them because they are appropriate for any age, and they are bilingual – you can read in either language or both!
Reading aloud is a great way to practice your Spanish pronunciation. And both reading and hearing it in the two languages, helps you acquire an ear for the language and be able to understand conversation better.
