The seasons are changing and with it blow the winds of adversity.
The bad attitudes and sloppy work ethics rear their ugly heads.
The procrastination and blame bugs seem to be out in full force and advancing into your once happy territory daily.
Stand your ground, Mom. This is a battle.
You and I both know the enemy would like nothing more than to destroy our children before they do great things for God. If he didn't, child training would not be this difficult.
Hang in there Mom.
It's no coincidence that God has placed these children in your home, under your roof and rules.
It's no coincidence that you feel you're on the front lines, giving more than you got.
It's no coincidence that there are days you don't have the answers or the grace to respond well.
If you did, you wouldn't need Him to help you.
God doesn't make coincidences, only divinely appointed opportunities. <— Tweet This!
An opportunity to need him, when we are battle weary and have no strength left.
An opportunity to run to him, when we are hurting because of our own inadequacies.
An opportunity to ask him, when we've run out of all the right answers.
Not because He delights in our weakness or pain, but because He delights in being our strength, our wisdom and our glory.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5 KJV
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
I pray that you will find wisdom for the answers, strength for the battle and grace for your needs as a mom today.
