How to Make Wordless Book Easter Eggs:
- Separate the eggs by color: red, blue, green, yellow, white and purple eggs. Set aside.
- Figure out which of the 7 colors you lack. (Usually it will be black and red, but you may also be missing white depending on what colors came in your pack of eggs.)
- Spray paint the other eggs with the missing colors, let dry.
- Print out the scripture verses, and cut apart.
- Fill the eggs with the same colored candies, and the correct scripture verse.
How to Use It As a Visual Aid for Teaching:
Show the eggs the the class and ask what they observe about them. Allow them to discuss size, color, etc. And then go through each colored egg using the Scriptures from the printable to teach the wordless book plan of salvation and how you can KNOW that you have eternal life.
- Black – sin
- Red – blood of Jesus
- White – forgiveness
- Blue – baptism
- Green – growth
- Yellow – Heaven, eternity
- Purple – adoption & royalty (optional)
After the lesson, open the eggs and share the candies with the children as they repeat back to you what the colors mean.
