I don't often talk about “blogging” on my blog, but yesterday was my one year blog anniversary, and I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge that milestone.
If there is one thing I have learned in a year, it is that no one is an island unto himself. The blogging world is as much about relationships as the “real” world is.
I am very thankful for the blogging relationships the Lord has given this year, and want to take a moment to recognize the people behind the blogs who have helped Paradise Praises grow into what it is today. I hope you will visit these friends on our top influential blog list and get to know them as well.
Tabitha @ Inspired Bloggers Network
I was blessed to meet Tabitha and get to know her during two blogging conferences this year. She welcomed me into her blogging Facebook community and continues to be a big influencer. She would not say she is a blogging guru, but I will say that be that as it may she is far enough ahead of me, and kindly willing enough to share what she has learned in her journey with the rest of us, that she may as well be. Tabitha manages the Inspired Bloggers Network blog and blogs at Meet Penny and numerous other sites.
Sharla @ The Choas and the Clutter
Sharla and I met briefly at a blogging conference early in 2013. She is mother to seven blessings and writes about their large (and adoptive) homeschool family adventures. She has been one of my top referring sites this year.
Amy @ Raising Arrows
Amy, also a homeschooling mom of a large family, was kind enough to review and critique Paradise Praises about four months into the journey. I have also had the privilege of guest posting on her site. I have learned so much from her help, encouragement and example.
Stephanie @ Multi-Taskin Mom & Sarah @ My Joy Filled Life
These two ladies have both created some fabulous blog planner materials that have kept me sane and organized as I have learned more and more what this blogging stuff is all about.
Rebecca @ Moms Mustard Seeds
I met Rebecca at a conference this year. Her blog is so refreshing and has been both an encouragement and a source of traffic for me this year as she hosts several mom-related link ups each month.
There are many others I could have mentioned as well, encouragers, counselors, fountains of information, those who shared posts and helped spread the word about this little blog and my new book, Putting On the Spirit. I am thankful for each and every one, and looking forward to what God will do and where he will take us in the next year.
If you're not a subscriber to Paradise Praises, I'd encourage you to join usย in singing the Lord's praises and encouraging others!
For His Glory,

It was really a pleasure to meet you at BEECH this year and to see your passion for homeschooling families. Happy Bloggiversary!!! I’m sure this coming year will lead to even more growth for you and I look forward to continuing to learn from each other.

You probably knew I would say this but I feel so unworthy of being on your list. To God be the glory and if He can use me to help you, He deserves all the credit. Cracked Pot + Held Together By The Grace of God = Tabitha Philen ๐

Yes Tabitha, I knew you would say it. Thanks for being predictable ๐ Love that you always reflect praise to God. Keep it up!

I just came home from a trip to see family – and saw your post. I am completely humbled by it. I pray that my words – are merely a way to bring Moms closer to God – to get them to seek Him…and what a blessing to see that you have found there at MMS! I pray you are blessed beyond reason this year and that many many Moms are blessed by your writing. I am loving your ebook, Btw, it is truly a blessing as you are!
