I hope you have enjoyed our Kids Doing Ministry series. To finish it up today, we've got a great list of other ministry ideas and links to more posts about ministry by kids.
Sing in a kids choir.
Blessing others through your musical abilities.
Visit in a nursing home.
Blessing others through spending time with them, listening to them.
Set up or tear down for special services or events.
Blessing others by physically helping get jobs done. Even the smallest can pitch in, be helpful and feel a part of the team.
Puppets or Christian magic shows.
Missions
Adopt a missionary. Many families adopt a missionary family. They pray for them regularly, correspond with them, Skype with them, even brainstorm and work together as a family to meet a special need to bless the missionary or the people they minister to.
Take a mission trip. Another great way for kids to minister is on mission trips. Michelle and her son went to Guatemala recently. Read about their adventure on Butterflies Treasured Wisdom.
With Compassion International you can become a sponsor for a child in another country.
Homeschooling 100 Digits has a post listing several different ministry agencies you and your kids can participate with to minister to others.
If you have a post describing another way to involve children in ministry to others, we'd love to have you leave your comment and link below!

Love all the ideas and thank you for mentioning a mission trip…it was truly one of the most rewarding experiences for my son and I. We reflect and still talk about it often. It is so much a part of all we are doing now and such a good focus for my son. He can’t wait to go back to Guatemala. 🙂 God is so good.

Mission trips early in my life also had life changing impact. One of reasons I’m in missions today. Hope to see you visit Mexico sometime 😉

My mom has been a geriatric nurse for many years. I remember visiting her at work and spending time at the nursing home, meeting all the grandmas and grandpas. It is such a blessing to them when children visit!

We used to go sing and visit in a nursing home when I was a kid and I was part of a team that did it on the weekends in college. LOVE listening to their stories and making them smile!
