LEGO® education is a popular kids activity in the states right now, and with good reason. There are tons of things kids can learn (without knowing they’re learning) while playing with legos.
LEGO® Education has come to Mexico in the last few years, and when we heard how it was catching on, we knew Campeche needed a place for LEGO® group education as well.
We’re calling our LEGO® group Bible Bricks, and we’re recruiting your help. Each week we are bringing in kids from the community around our mission church to learn with legos. However, we’re also using the time to teach them of the Master Builder and his perfect design for their lives.
We started with a small set of our own Duplo Blocks and added 1000 pieces of LEGO® bricks in February, but the prices for new blocks here are double or more US prices. It’s a great start, but we need more and that’s where you come in…
How can you help?
Through April 1, 2016, we’ll be collecting donated Duplo blocks and LEGO® bricks to facilitate a single shipment of the donated materials to Mexico in early April.
Have your kids outgrown their Duplo blocks or LEGO® bricks? Donate your bricks to our Bible Bricks club and your cast off toys can make an eternal impact.
Does your church, youth group or local LEGO® group want to make a difference internationally? Help them with a donation drive for our Bible Bricks club.
Don’t have LEGO® bricks? or don’t want to part with them? We have a way you can still participate as there are also needs for special pieces, shipping and importation fees. Make a difference today! Click here for more information and to find out how to donate to the Bible Bricks for Mexico cause.
What do you get?
- A great big thank you!
- The satisfaction of knowing you’re making a difference for eternity in the lives of children in Mexico.
- Follow up emails and photos of our Bible Bricks Club as this exciting community outreach grows.
