I have a little man. Funny as can be.
He picks up little ants and bugs and turns to look at me.
“Mommy! May I keep him?” He winks and bats his eyes.
“He'd make the bestest pet! Please, please, pleeaasssee!” He cries!
For all the mommies out there who would rather read about insects than let their kids make pets of them… Today's What to Read Wednesday book list is for you! Here are some great insect books to help your little ones get up close and personal with those exciting insects without having the real-life excitement of the insects to deal with!
