Hydro means water. My kids LOVE water! Anything having to do with water grabs their attention instantly. So when we started unit 3 on the Hydrosphere in Christian Kids Explore Earth & Space (by Bright Ideas Press), I knew we were in for an enjoyable learning experience, and I was not wrong.
One of the funnest hydro science lessons was studying the water cycle, how water evaporates, turns into clouds, turns into precipitation (rain) and then falls to earth again as water. It was interesting to see all the different stages of water drawn out in the diagrams in the book, but even more interesting when we went outside and pretended to BE the water. Watch this!
