Do You Struggle with Dyslexia?
My husband and consequently some of my children struggle with dyslexia. It a real problem for them, and has slowed down progress in learning to read, and made it difficult for some of them to want to do schoolwork.
Free Font for Dyslexics
I was excited to read this article recently announcing a new font that has been created specifically for dyslexia. I am excited to try it out in our homeschool.
Richard Branson, the creator, claims that using this font will help those who struggle with dyslexia because the weight or design of the letters makes it easier to distinguish between the b and d and p and q, for example.
