Dr. Seuss (Theodore Geissel's) birthday is March 1st. In my opinion he was one of the most creative minds the world has ever known. I was in awe of his word magic as a child and still sit spell bound when his rhymes are read aloud. Every March 1st children and word-lovers everywhere honor him by enjoying his works together.
Here are some fun ways you can incorporate some Dr. Seuss into your homeschool day. Do a little or go all out.
If you want to research him start with his Amazon Biography Page, and then see if you can get the book The Boy on Fairfield Streetat the library. it is one of the best book biographies of Theodore Geissel for the younger crowd that I have read.
