GRACE.
Grace. What an incredible and comforting word! Grace. It even sounds soft rolling lightly off the tongue. Grace is His sweetness rolling off my tongue when my selfish heart and my aching body would choose to respond less sweetly.
Grace is His enablement to continue working for the goal even on the days when it appears overwhelmingly unattainable.
What is Grace?
Grace is unmerited, fully encompassing forgiveness when I fail. It is never-diminishing Love that wraps me in His strong and tender arms, dries my tears and says, “I know. I felt that once too, but God the Father gave me victory, and He will also give you victory through me. I forgive you. I love you. And I will help you. You don't have to do this alone.”
Sweet Grace.
No wonder so many have written songs about it…
Marvelous grace of our loving Lord, grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt…
Grace, 'tis a charming sound…
Wonderful the matchless grace of Jesus…
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound…
Saved by grace alone…
Overwhelmed by His mercy, amazed by His grace…
What a treasure is grace! May your mind contemplate it, your spirt rejoice in it, your soul depend upon it and your heart rest in it today.
And the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
