The other day I mentioned some vocabulary resources for learning Spanish, but today’s post will offer you some great reference materials for your language learning adventure.

My First Spanish Word Book, bilingual – appropriate for preschool to lower elementary. Each 2-page spread covers a new theme of vocabulary words. Taking 1 theme per week and every 6th week to review, you can cover the entire book in one school year.
Merriam-Webster’s Illustrated Spanish-English Student Dictionary – This dictionary has more than 40,000 entries with clear, concise translations and definitions and it is bidirectional: English to Spanish and Spanish to English. Suitable for upper elementary through high school.
Medical Dictionary – I have the 3rd edition of this book, which I relied on heavily during my training for my medical interpreter certification. If you have someone interested in interpreting or in the medical field, this will be a great addition to their reference bookshelf.
Did I forget anything? Do you have another bilingual Dictionary or Reference Guide that you would recommend? Leave me a comment please. I’d love to keep adding to this list.
